Does anybody have any experience with Cathay's upgrade of tier status with insufficient points? I had my MPC member from green to silver and to gold with about 25% - 35% insufficient miles, before the MPC program revamp late last year. Now after the MPC program revamp, I am like 2% (points) away from getting Diamond, but Cathay is not doing anything, no bump-up, haha. I think that Cathay is right now really not giving any leeway even when the passenger is super close to the next tier. I kind of like it to keep the bar high.
