It would also be impossible because you are not able to enter either zone without being a passenger. If you're going to a Schengen destination you are not able to enter the non-Schengen zone and vice versa unless you are arriving from that zone in which case you will of course be dumped in it upon exiting the plane.


(It still remains true that all gates are connected airside. This is apparent if you arrive at the Low cost pier on, say, Ryanair, for which flights the gates are quite naturally always configured as a H, rather than M, gate)
That will change as FR will fly to Schengen destinations from AMS soon, too.
