Same here, but there is not other practical alternative - aside from implementing an out ban on the use/charging of all PEDs during the flight.

While I respect and love the AC FA's (many of them I would book flights with just to fly with even if at different times) they are not tech's and trying to figure out if someone has a note 7 or not, when looking at a plane full of 450 pax, I do not beleive can be done with accuracy.
True, but then any person caught doing this can face some really stiff charges - as they are willingly ignoring crew member instructions and are willingly exposing the aircraft to a safety threat - the second one being the most severe and carrying stiffer penalties.

I hope passengers are not willing to risk the rubber glove treatment and potential jail time just so they can use their phone. -_-
