That's just a late night flight. You still can get out of EDI, back into town and sleep in some bed can't you?

We do the same for BKK, getting in at 00:15 (my missus just done this with her folks, which is quite a feat for the seniors). We even got Air Flow Controlled into PVG but cabs are still affordable, checking in at 4am.

What's horrible is:

- arriving into HND/KIX on a LCC after last monorail/bus and trying to squeeze into the overnight lounge. Or a departure hall bench.

- leaving on a 5am-6am flight and also trying to found an overnight lounge/bench

(if you're travelling on a LCC, you're hardly going to feel generous enough to plump for the airport hotel right? And there's not much accomodation with transfer to/from HND/KIX nearby)
