As a GGL was able to reserve exit row for an EU flight after booking but at OLCI was assigned another seat further back. When trying to reclaim the exit row seat the system asked me to pay. That is greatly annoying and disappointing especially with the new seat pitch.
I keep having my exit row bookings removed.As a GGL i struggled to find out why,until a helpful check in agent said I was ineligible to sit in an exit row according to the computer.I had a bit of a struggle to get this changed,but once done the scenario has not repeated.
it seems the Fly system arbitrarily decides some people cannot use the exit rows.My swaps all came after OLCI,and in most cases the seat remained empty until I arrived at bag drop.
