No, it's like saying that you shouldn't buy ultra secure door lock for your house unless you're also going to buy bullet proof windows.
Wow, this is just terribly naive. Most people who get hacked aren't specifically targeted in order to get particular information off their devices.
I'm not suggesting that only people with sensitive information are targets of hacks. I'm just saying that unless the cost/consequences of getting hacked are particularly high, it's not necessary to take unusual precautions.
