This is indeed the question we really want to find out the answer to. Is QR willing and able to check in luggage to any same day departure once the desks are open, or will they limit it to the next flight?



To follow up another angle of OP's question, I tracked the check in desks of QR164 today in the CPH airport app *). QR web page only says check-in desks "typically open 3h before takeoff" which isn't very precise nor promising for early bag drop..

Check in desks were not open at T-3 (19:40). At 19.59 desk 97 opened, quickly followed by desk 95 and 96. At 20.03 desk 98-101 was marked as opened. So I would say that QR check in at CPH is commenced at T-2h40m.
(QR160 earlier today had desks 95-102 assigned but I didn't track when they opened)



*) Yes, you need this app if flying from CPH, it is the only source of info that is decently reliable and complete.
