Avis in OGG (Maui): Specialty Cars?

So Mrs. Aoumd and I are looking at a possible trip to OGG (Maui) this winter.

With the Chase Sapphire Reserve I see that I get a discount on Avis, and also noticed that for the week we'd want to be there, the cost of a "Specialty" car, "Ford Mustang or similar," is less than $10 for the week higher than the smallest subcompact.

I know it won't be a convertible - those run for twice as much - but does anyone here have any experience with "Specialty" cars on Maui? Are they actually Mustangs, or are they something else?

My last two car rentals, both on the mainland from Budget and Alamo, promised a Buick Verano (but actually got a Ford Fusion) and a Nissan Altima (but actually got a Kia Santa Fe), respectively, so I'm curious just how varied the stock is in the greater rental car market. Just curious what things are like on the "sealed sandbox" that is the OGG car rental scene.

Thanks!
