It's a BA booking on CX/KA metal. When I called them to complain, BA claimed that CX made the change unilaterally, and made the substitution of origin from HIJ to FUK unilaterally.
I requested to that my rebooking be from KIX, NGO, or even HND/NRT, but BA claimed that because CX/KA have no award space on 1 Jan, they cannot rebook me. We are booked in J because this is for my honeymoon. I reminded them that this change was very involuntary in nature, but they redirected all blame to CX.
I understand that my personal booking isn't really a CX issue, but I was interested in seeing if there's a possibility that CX/KA restart HIJ-HKG prior to 1 Jan.
FUK is honestly an okay option.
