Paying the higher fee might be worth if your spend on the card is low and you need to make up with the bonus miles (if available every year) . i.e if you have had to pay emirates for skywards miles .
If you are a high spender and are planning to fly on Emirates regularly then better go for the card with low fee (miles will come from the spend /flights)
Your choice depends on your situation .
