Port Columbus isn't bad. There are a couple of things they could do to improve, but they are among the better: things move along pretty briskly, the folks have reasonably polite demeanor, etc.
The improvements I'd suggest for Port Columbus are:
- For the occasions when there is a big line, some line-control measures would be nice (i.e. tensabarriers with the "5 minutes from here" signs, etc.)
- They're one of the remaining places where selectees and non-selectees are mixed together -- if we have to fuss with our bags, shoes, etc. to get through the xray, we should be able to put our boarding pass away first.
- Their handling of the elite status line is a little misguided (again, comes back to that lack-of-line-control thing.)
