So sorry that your report or stay was so negative. I admit, I go there to rest, read all the books I had no time to read (I can only read laying flat on my belly...) but I also go for the swimming, sailing, diving, snorkeling, tennis, lonely barbecues on deserted islands, fishing, people watching and getting away from phones and hurried people.
I never get bored but I also love the place because it is one of the only places in the world where you can leave your watch by the bedside and it does not matter a bit if you returned one, two or three hours later, because the pure luxury is that time does not matter. The concierge always calls me the night before to remind me that I am leaving the next morning and even then, they come and help me pack an hour before the seaplane picks me up.
May I add that I go the Kanuhura, One and Only resort. Worth all the many pennies.
