In my case, the missing print 'receipt and itineary' functionality seems to be limiting to award tickets only, paid tickets still work fine. The 'print a receipt' from Refunds page is only good if you know the 13-digit ticket number, otherwise it is next to useless with only your record locator.
Tried call web technical support line, the call went to the Philippines with the CS insisted she could only look up the ticket number given the locator but wouldn't put in a trouble ticket on my behalf to get it fixed.
The new 'enhancements' done to AA.com lately have broken a number of useful functionality. This 'print reciept & itinerary' is one, another one is 'view all my trips' which instead of listing all your trips brings you back to the log in page when you are already logged in... No QA testing prior rolling out to production ?! What a nut job!
So many negatives with AA this year : disastrous operation performance, broken web portal functionality, subpar customer services, the list goes on, ... sigh !
