Perhaps this post belongs more in the main bumping seats thread but...I was confirmed on my first 789 trip in 1K when it first starting operating into IAH. The map did not yet start blocking 1AK for Golds. Once the blocking for Golds began, I was suddenly bumped out of 1K into 1E - neither 2AK were available. I phoned YouFirst and explained the dilemma. The agent insisted that was impossible bc 1AK are always reserved for Golds. He continued insinuating I was lying, which infuriated me. I knew I would get nowhere so ended up eventually re-routing so as to not be in the middle section. Some months later a flight opened up via IAH and I ended up in 2K but my bumping experience and how the chap insisted what I was saying was impossible was very aggravating. My bumping experience...
