There could be a mismatch between your real status and how it is on the reservation. Sometimes your status is not updated on the PNR, is your status shown as Gold on the app? And I mean on the app, not on the boarding pass.
EDIT: I misread your message, sorry, the app saying you are Ruby? Try logging out and then log in again. I have had cache issues with my prehistoric Android release every now and then.
Turns out it is not just the app. I got a paper BP today with the same mistake.
It seems the OW status on the BP is what you had when you made the reservation even if you go to a different level between reservation and flight.
