Anyway, I spent the weekend for a wedding recently at a Hyatt Place, and the overall experience was fine other than two things.

First I had to finagle a room that had the TV set up so you dont have to break your neck to watch it from bed, which many people do in a hotel room, watch TV from bed that is, but Hyatt and Marriott dont know that so they put the TV off at an angle SIGH...But then I laid on the mattress, noticed how thin it was, that the pillow top was so unsubstantial that it barely gave a softness feel, and the overall feeling of the mattress way too hard.

So hard in fact I had to drive next door to Sears and get a mattress topper to use while there.

The people at the hotel assured me ALL Hyatt's, regardless of Grand vs Place, have this exact same mattress. If so I can never stay at a Hyatt again, bummer.

Anybody else notice this?
No for either of these two things.
