2. Why would HKIA still has to force me to get someone from CX to escort me to security and sign to confirm.
3. I asked CX about batteries at F check in counter flying J, and seems no one cares about what HKIA would do to me at security. There are couple of senior staff at F check in and it seems they've never heard any problems before.
So I guess I was the first one to bring 20 batteries through HKIA security, lucky I was there more than 2 hours before departure.
1. Does your 20 batteries include those inside cameras and cell phones? I think some are being counted towards the limit.
2. HKIA security wants to make sure that they are not liable and a record exists should anything happen.
3. Perhaps nobody tried to bring 20 batteries before.
