I stopped by two branches (yesterday and today) in affluent parts of Los Angeles and spoke with CPC bankers and asked about the Palladium card. Both bankers did the exact same thing. First, they called some CPC phone line and they were told that the Palladium was no longer available. Then, they called JP Morgan and was told the exact same thing. Neither banker had any experience with processing Palladium applications post-Reserve release. Neither banker was even aware of the existence of the JPMR card.

I was excited about the CSR when rumors came out but it was the existence of the JPMR which delayed my decision to apply for the CSR. Looks like I'll have to settle for the CSR. Chase doesn't have any credit cards that distinguishes CPCs anymore. Hopefully they'll offer the JPMR to CPC customers in the future and that will keep me a happy customer.
