Hey all,

Have a flight SFO-SIN-SGN in J but the flight from SIN-SGN is 23 hrs after we arrive in SIN (not intentional just based on availability). Speaking to the Krisflyer rep he said the bag tag issued would be all the way to SGN unless we could convince the person checking us in on the day of the flight to somehow issue it to SIN only instead.

Does anybody have any experience with this? I would really rather have my bag with me for that layover then having it sit at the airport. We are also considering paying cash for a separate flight that same night on another airline (since the cost is minimal) rather than lose 23 hrs in Singapore in route to our vacation, so having the bag would be necessary for that situation as well.
