I wrote into Altitude in early January and got an "We'll respond in early March", then a response about the 22nd. There was no apology for this 10 week delay.
I don't know of any company where 10 weeks would be an acceptable wait time. If I contact (by email) a hotel, agency, whatever anyone who doesn't respond within a few days to a week max gets kicked off the consideration list.
In comparison, I have an extremely basic bottom feeding package with a company hosting websites. I probably spend <$200 a year there. Their tech support line was jammed (calling because their website refused to let me reset my password and payment was now overdue). Sales line answered instantly. When I finally got in I took 2 minutes to post a comment though the portal - not a public one, just a comment about my experience.
FIVE minutes later my cell phone rang to apologize and promise me they were looking into it. And when I got home later ... they'd tried my home number about 2-3 mins after I logged the ticket.
