I am a current AA Plat that is debating a switch to DL. As the title says, I am based out of CLT, so AA (and US before that) has be the default based on the hub.

Are there any other CLT fliers who have made the move to DL? I would be curious about your experience.

I generally fly on the east coast with 2-3 trips to the west coast per year and a few to Texas. Limited overseas travel - did one this year but don't foresee one next year.

I generally hit 60 segments a year on AA with mostly directs. I am worried about giving up directs, but am tiring of the crappy hard product and limited upgrade chances on flights over 500 miles (those stickers run out fast).
