I'm leaning more towards the venue in Dorsoduro. Could members here please suggest some good pizzerias in the area?. Not looking for an upscale posh venue, just one of those pizza "shops" where you get your pizza by weight, and have it on the go or as a take away.

pizza is not really eaten in Venice. There are a few touristy places that will microwave a frozen pizza to sell to tourists and students. Pizza used to be against the law there. There's no history of pizza in Venice. I'd suggest eating Venetian food.
