I have a Filson briefcase which I absolutely love, but they're a bit heavier so I don't think it would fit your needs.

I am trying to figure out whether Tumi is actually superior in terms of quality-of-materials and workmanship, when compared to Victorinox's architecture series (being their premium line). If the significantly higher price (of Tumi) is for quality, I'm happy to pay but if the price difference is simply for "brand value" I would prefer to buy the Victorinox architecture brief.
