Tried seat 6D from my recent KIX-KUL flight (successful MHupgrade bid) and the legroom in sleeping mode was pretty much fixed.

Bulkhead economy seats on row 9 was okay, just couldn't stretch out my legs though (I'm 175cm tall).

I have 2 more flights in Business class next year and I chose 1K seeing that it has much better legroom in sleeping mode.
