DL 8843 - JFK-->LGA (Sept. 11)
Walked off a flight in JFK T2 yesterday and passed by a gate with a flight posted to LGA.

I'm aware that sometimes planes are ferried from JFK to LGA (or vice-versa) if they are diverted due to the LGA curfew or another reason, however I've never seen a flight like this posted on the GIDS in the terminal. Is this common practice? I can't imagine that the flight carried passengers - any reason why this would be posted on the GIDS or any more info on this particular flight?

(Searched the forum but couldn't find anything relevant about JFK-->LGA flights; mods please move if I missed a thread.)
