The Amangani in Wyoming was sold out by May this year, and the Four Seasons Jackson Hole has a 5 night minimum. Both these hotels are directly in the eclipse path. were to Amangani and then the FS Jackson Hole. There's a big science gathering there in the vicinity, so I can't say I'm surprised. And I never can justify 5 nights for something like this--I always feel taken. But I love that you're gonna be hanging with science nerds to see it! That's fab!
After Jackson was out, and it looked like Portland/Salem were out, I actually booked the Westin Nashville--since that is the only major metro area that is also directly in the total eclipse path. But I'll enjoy Portland/Willamette Valley better, and it's closer!

For the Allison, my wife says the massage there was the best she's had - but book early to avoid missing out. She had to take an early morning slot to get anything at all!
