Sorry, wasn't initially planning on a full report, so just remembered 3 other differences
The lights for the seat I assume once had working buttons in the now broken remotes. So to turn on the light, you need to stand up and push the button near the bulb. Annoying if you want to just sit or are short (like my wife) or are sitting in the aisle as you need to reach all the way to the center above others.
When flying with an infant, they made a special point of bringing us an infant life vest before the flight and a seatbelt extender for the baby and checked with us multiple times that we know how to use it. Not only has that never happened on LY, but when flying back today and we asked about it, they made a big deal that we'll get the life vest "only if we need it" and that "you should never use a seatbelt extender with an infant."
While neither airline has caught up with 2016 and allows electronics during take-off, taxi, and landing (and indeed, the iPads are handed out after take-off and collected before landing), the FAs don't care at all. Sure, this may have been a one-off experience, but they saw many using electronics and had no issue with it whatsoever.
