In order to expedite the screening process, your son's hands should be amputated and placed through the x-ray machine. They may then be be reattached after your son walks through the medical detector.
The TSA will provide sutures and glue for a nominal fee.
The TSA is interested in keeping the screening process efficient, so passengers have the option:
- Keep all appendages un-amputated and submit to lengthy and humiliating secondary screening
- Amputate appendages prior to submitting to screening.
