Not sure I want to stand around waiting for the guy in front of me to finish off his water when he had the chance before the checkpoint, particularly at Pre-Check where it's pretty much a non-issue.
In this case it was after it went through conveyor and they said "is this yours". I offered to drink the ~6 ounces left and was denied. I wasn't delaying anyone other than the non-TSA official who spent more time escorting to the back of the line
