So it was an interesting experience compared to regular LY.
The crew was mostly Hi Fly but there were a few LY FAs on board and they mostly acted as separate crews. The food, pillows, etc. were all LY.
The service was friendlier than on LY but not as attentive (if that makes sense). On LY, I don't necessarily find the FAs friendly, but they do multiple drink services, are constantly walking around with water or cleaning up trash, etc. Here, there was just 1 drink service, and barely any garbage removal.
The screens looked large and great but the remotes seemed trashy and broken. Regardless, they didn't work and weren't on. Only annoying thing is there was no map with info (landing time, local times, etc.). They did hand out iPads to anyone who wanted (and someone tried stealing it). Nice idea except they barely loaded them up. 6 movies, 6 TV shows (each with 2 episodes), and maybe 20 albums of music. At least they were free.
The plane was an interesting plane. The seats were red leather seats. I liked that they reclined by leaning forward as well, which increased the recline. The bassinet was higher than on LY, improving leg space.
The bathrooms had LY soap, but no cabinet with toilet paper, so the 2 toilet paper rolls finished quickly, and you had to ask the FAs to constantly re-fill. On the flip side, there seemed to be a higher bathroom ratio than normal, making lines much shorter.
There were 2 "bar" areas. One between both C cabins and 1 between both Y cabins. The former seemed fully set up for a bar, with couches, bar stools, etc. The latter less so, and they covered it with snacks and Hebrew newspapers.
