It depends on which cabin you are in, and whether you have checked bags, GE or APC, Pre-Check, and luck. You can often make jetway to T5 land side in 20 minutes and T5 land side to T3 gate in another 20 but it can take a lot longer if you are in coach and can't bypass anything. You should be OK and AA will put you on a later flight if you miss.
