But it's a gamble you may find yourself losing if you wait until you're there. Generally, dependant on your travel class, the lounge attendants at the front desk are far more helpful than the desk agents throughout the airport.

As an aside if you just buy a ticket full fare - DOH-AUH is not an expensive routing at all so may be worth it for your peace of mind.
