Bad advice.

As it stands, OP may have mishandled things by going through the revenue manager at the property, but the property followed the t&c.

Chargebacks cost CC issuers a lot of money to process and they tend to flag customers who file false disputes as "problem children".

OP needs to work this one out as a customer service issue, not on the t&c or he loses (or has lost).
