International arrivals
I sure hope DL moves international arrivals for itself and skyteam partners to the new terminal A and that they design it for speedy transit. I arrived on Monday at terminal E on AZ. We were held on the plane for 20 minutes waiting for crowds to clear the arrivals hall. When we finally left the plane, the lines of non-US citizens was extremely long--snaking along the entire length of the hallway which extends almost the length of terminal E--we excited at gate 8B and there must have been 300-400 feet of unhappy non-citizens. When we arrived at baggage claim, the small converyer filled up with luggage which non-citizens couldn't claim because they were still in line for immigration. It took 30 minutes before they began putting unclaimed luggage aside next to the conveyor, providing room for the rest of the luggage on the belt. Its a big contrast to the few minutes one spends in line entering a European country and its such an insulting way to welcome visitors to the US.
