I had an issue. I had searched alaskaair.com and found a 20K reward seat on AS 831 from SEA to OGG on May 14 2017. Called BA and they are unable to see the flight to book for me. He said I should call back periodically to check. I don't get it, if I can see on alaskaair.com why can't BA book for me?? This is frustrating. I wanted to book and be be done as I had already been searching the best routes and flights for several days. I'm just trying to go from ANY west coast city to OGG on May 14 using 12,500 Avios.

I was able to book OGG to SJC return flight (also was 20K on Alaska) for the 12,500 Avios.


The agent didn't mention the phone booking fee at all and I didn't pay one for the OGG-SJC booking.
