Thank you to everyone for the suggestions. I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the Chase Sapphire Reserve. It seems like the best fit for my immediate and future needs. In addition, even if I don't transfer the 100k UR to an airline or partner, I can use the cash value to pay for the potential buying of additional AA miles if need be(by indirect means, of course).
