Got on the train at Lewisham to find a lady stoutly defending her bag's seat..... I asked her nicely to move it but she just looked out the window and ignored me. I asked again a bit louder , and when she ignored me again, I just sat down on her bag.......

She then turned round and roundly abused me for sitting on the bag as she had some diabetic equipment in there which I might have broken. I just told her she had been given not one, but two opportunities to move it before I acted - and unlike her bag, I'd paid several thousand pounds to travel on the train and was more entitled to the seat than her bag.......
