She then turned round and roundly abused me for sitting on the bag as she had some diabetic equipment in there which I might have broken. I just told her she had been given not one, but two opportunities to move it before I acted - and unlike her bag, I'd paid several thousand pounds to travel on the train and was more entitled to the seat than her bag.......
I did once help a gentleman with his suitcase after he refused to move it. I helped him to put it on to the platform, not sure it was the station he wanted, but it saved him having lug up the carriage.
