Yes, getting SIMs at the airport is what we did during our last trip to VN 9 months ago. On prior trips, before T-mobile offered any international coverage at all, getting SIMs wasted time, and they didn't use to be available as the airport. We've been to VN many times, still our #1 place to travel. Really wish T-mobile would resolve the situation so we could keep our US number active when traveling. But it's not like any other US carrier offers proper coverage there either...
