Cantaloupes are admissible from all states.

In practice, CA doesn't have fruit police inspecting people getting off JFK-LAX flights to see if they're carrying blueberries, but they could.
I've never seen Ag control when flying into SoCal from within the US except from Hawaii, where they do it at the Hawaii end. For flyerCO- California does have Ag control checkpoints when you're driving into the state. They're about like a drive-through customs checkpoint.
