Joined something just like this about 7 years ago with Intercontinental Hotels Group. Earned a nice swag of points , and it was interesting to preview new adverts and hotel room designs ahead of launch, but they didn't listen to a god-damn thing anyone said as feedback. By the end of it - about 6 months - many of us on the board kept starting and ending our responses to any questionnaires with " FREE WIFI PLEASE" ....because back in those days the only option was an extortionate daily fee and we all felt status members should have wifi (now a common benefit in hotels but IHG were very slow to introduce it versus other chains). Enjoy the experience ....but don't get your hopes up!
