My husband applied Friday, got rejection letter today stating too many credit cards opened in the last two years.

Credit score is in the 800s, have had CSP and Disney visa for the past 4 years.
Opened a Fairmont last year (closed in spring), Hyatt this year (still open) and Barclay last year (closed).

That seems pretty light for churning but guess we'll be sticking with CSP for now.

We have a trip coming up in a few weeks which would have made the $300 credit/$450 fee work for us. Thought about calling recon but the timing would not work out for this trip.
