Before you jump all over me, yes, I know it may post after a statement or two, but I've had cards where the bonus posted before the first statement even closed.
It is interesting that no card activation is required.
To circumvent the $75 fee for an authorized user, I got two cards in my name and she can use one of them when out and about. Very rarely do they ask for ID.
My statement is yet to close so can't provide any DP there. However, I did ask Chase what do I need to do (i.e. activate offer, etc.) and they SM'd saying just message us back when you're met your spend and we'll confirm for you.
If I don't see it post after this statement closes then I'll go that route. I'm sure before statement 2 closes it will post, as long as you met the requirement.
