I never posted from experience last year - we flew out for the UCI World Championships and were able to get a room at the Westin on a weekend when most of Richmond was sold out with national teams (the Australians were at the Westin). The hotel was a madhouse due to this, but the service was impeccable. Front desk staff that checked us in greeted us by name for the rest of our stay. Excellent lounge spread and staff. Great bar/restaurant staff. Rooms looked pristine, yet they had a note waiting for us with information on their upcoming renovations. Probably the best Westin I've stayed at. We've even joked about taking a trip back to Richmond just for the hotel.
