My uncle and aunt had a last minute switch back from JFK last week from an LY operated flight to one of these Airbuses.
On the way out (to YYZ) they had one of the leased 777, but that they knew about in advance.
Interesting, I had thought that the JFK line had been spared from leasing.
What did he think about the Airbus? Did it end up being better than an actual El Al plane? Is the crew also outsourced as with the Privilege flights?
