Great TR - awesome result on your bar exam studies and commiserations on your break up - but there is a wonderful partner out there for you ....

While Australia was built on the backs of convicts - I have several in my ancestry - of which I am very proud, current Immigration policy is anyone who has committed a been convicted of a serious offence, or spent more than 12 months in jail is not acceptable for a visitors visa.

Our booze measures are 30ml - it works as we have strict drink driving laws, the RBT stop or RBT bus - blitz's are common. RBT stands for Random Breath Test.

You can get stopped at anytime and asked to blow in the tube, or speak depending on the device. If you blow over 0.05 you are further tested and if necessary urine and blood tests. Failure to supply a sample of breath - will result in arrest and charged with driving at the highest range.

Penalties can be as low as a few hundred bucks in a fine or loss of driver privilege or even jail time depending on the amount over the limit - and history etc.

So when we go out we know we can have 3 standard drinks in the first hour and 1 per hour after that, and still be pretty safe to drive.

Of course it changes depending on your size and what food you eat etc...

Adelaide has a festival and a fringe festival every year - cultural - it is the down under version of the Edinburgh Festival so attracts amazing artists and acts.

Hence the moniker of Festival State.

IC Sydney - amazed you paid for club and did not get a harbour view room - they really are amazing - as you see all the way up the harbour

you certainly saw the interesting bits of sydney in a short time - but lots of see thats of interest

Vegemite is an acquired taste- most of us acquire it as youngsters, many Aussies would not consider breakfast toast with anything else.
