Really, that is a different thing altogether, and I suppose there is some expectation of a different experience when there are no doors...or only holes in the ground, or whatever the case may be.

There is a factor of expectation for the location. The OP wasn't at the beach.
You must have not grown up by the beach or lifeguarded at one where you'd see a naked person a day in the beach showers naked brushing off sand and changing.


It's fascinating that others in this thread have a "guilty til proven innocent" mentality that everyone is a dirty old man.
Even more fascinating is the context argument that it's not about the nudity but it's about the conditioning that somehow nudity is only okay when you come to expect that it may be present.
