Did you have to pay extra to get your ticket rebooked to ORD-LHR on BA? Right now, I am considering just using my UA miles to get me to Vienna, which is unfortunate because I want to get rid of my AA miles and abandon the program all together. Their availability to Europe is horrible out of ORD compared to United/Star Alliance.
I think you confused my post. I clearly said that I was not allowed to take BA, it had to be AA metal only. Since I was going to lose one day extra, I opted to leave the day before, while they still had room, as I already had been upgraded via SWU. Good luck.
