Last year I flew on a 747 from SFO-HNL on the Sat after Thanksgiving. The plane was nearly empty - they fly it to bring back all the passengers returning from the holiday on Sunday. I'm fairly certain this has happened in years past as well.

Keep an eye on that date to see if they upgauge one of the flights to a 747.
