40000 miles is a gap... are you sure you really want 1K?

(think about the benefits of your current status, compared to 1K. is it worth $2500 and your time?)

you basically need 2 back-to-back RTW trips

quick look, ORD->SIN is about $1300 RT and 18.9k miles. do two of those, plus creative routing
