Points Not Posting...Despite Diamond Desk Saying They're There
I had a recent 1-night stay and I waited a week before sending an email about the stay/night/points not posting.
I always submit an email to the Diamond Desk about missing stays because they usually respond within 24 hours where the web-form can take 4-6 weeks.
Hilton Reply 1: "Thank you for your inquiry. We're pleased to inform you you earned XXXX points on your stay which have been credited to your account."
I waited 4 days for the points to post. I replied saying the points weren't showing.
Hilton Reply 2: "Thank you for getting back to us. It appears that we are having issues with some account information not updating. I have reset your account. Please allow 24 hours for the account to update."
I waited 3 more days for the points to post. I replied saying the points still weren't showing.
Hilton Reply 3: "Our system shows the points, stay, and night activity have posted to your account. I sincerely apologize for your difficulty viewing your hotel stay information online. Only reservations containing your account number, registered in the exact name on your account will display online."
I made the reservation using my HHonors user ID and password using the HHonors website and have never used a 3rd party booking site.
How do I escalate this beyond the Diamond Desk?
